I do not know how much material I need. Can you help me figure out square footage?
Yes. Bring a rough sketch of your countertop area with approximate measurements — the length and width of each counter run, plus any island — and we will estimate the total square footage of slab you need. You do not need a fabricator lined up first.
I am remodeling my kitchen and do not know where to start. What should I do first?
Start by visiting the Gilbert showroom. Bring photos of your kitchen, your cabinet color and a rough budget, and we will walk you through the slabs that fit your space.
Do I need to be a contractor or have a business license to buy from Stone Quarry?
No. Stone Quarry is open to the public. Homeowners are welcome to walk the slab yard, view full slabs and buy stone directly — no membership or business license required. If you need a fabricator, we can point you to trusted local shops.
Does Stone Quarry fabricate or install countertops?
No. We're a natural stone and quartz slab supplier, not a fabrication shop. You buy the slab from us and your fabricator cuts, polishes and installs it. Many East Valley fabricators pick up from our Gilbert yard, and we offer free slab-yard delivery to them.
How much do granite and quartz slabs cost in the Phoenix area?
Slab pricing depends on the stone type, rarity and thickness. In-stock granite starts at the lower end, with exotic quartzite and marble higher. Stone Quarry has a price-match guarantee on comparable in-stock stone and charges no fuel surcharge. Call (480) 897-9499 or visit for current pricing.
What areas does Stone Quarry deliver to?
We offer free slab-yard delivery from our Gilbert location to fabricators and job sites across the East Valley and greater Phoenix metro — Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, Queen Creek, Scottsdale and more. Ask about your specific delivery zone.
Can I put a slab on hold while I choose a fabricator?
Yes. We tag and reserve your exact slabs while you finalize your fabricator and design, so the stone you picked is the stone you get.
What's the difference between quartz and quartzite?
Quartz is an engineered, man-made surface (ground stone plus resin) with consistent color and no sealing needed. Quartzite is a 100% natural stone, quarried in slabs, that looks like marble but is harder than granite. We stock both at our Gilbert slab yard.
Do you sell remnants?
Yes. We keep a remnant area of discounted partial slabs that are perfect for vanities, tabletops, shelves, fireplace hearths and bar tops. Remnant stock changes constantly, so it's best to come in and look.
How often does new stone arrive?
New containers land at our Gilbert yard most weeks, with fresh granite, quartzite, marble and quartz. Follow our blog or call ahead and we'll tell you what just came in.
Can my fabricator pick up my slab for me?
Absolutely. Most customers select and reserve their slab in person, then their fabricator picks it up or we deliver it to the shop free of charge.
Where is Stone Quarry located and what are your hours?
We're at 1400 N Fiesta Blvd, Suite 100, Gilbert, AZ 85233. Open Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm and Saturday 9:00am–4:00pm, closed Sunday.
Does Stone Quarry price match?
Yes. Bring a written quote on comparable in-stock stone and we'll match it. Our pricing is transparent with no fuel surcharge fees on delivery.
Is Stone Quarry an actual rock quarry? Do you sell landscape rock, gravel, or boulders?
No. Despite the name, Stone Quarry, Inc. is not a rock quarry and does not sell landscaping rock, decorative gravel, boulders, road base, riprap, or bulk aggregate. We are a supplier of finished natural stone and quartz slabs for kitchen and bathroom countertops, serving homeowners, designers and fabricators in Gilbert and the East Valley. For landscape rock and aggregate, a local landscape materials or sand-and-gravel yard is what you're after.
